Si avvicina al biathlon dopo avere sperimentato tutte le discipline invernali. Da bambina si diverte con le pistole a pallini, da grande trova il modo di prendere la mira giusta per inseguire i propri sogni agonistici. Ai Giochi di Pyeongchang 2018 fa parte della squadra azzurra che ottiene il bronzo nella staffetta mista e nel suo palmarès iridato può annoverare la bellezza di 12 medaglie. Ha sapore di epicità l'edizione di Nove Mesto 2024, chiusa con un oro (individuale) e un tris di argenti (inseguimento, mass start e staffetta singola mista). Nel marzo dello stesso anno (dopo Dorothea Wierer) diventa la seconda azzurra della storia ad imporsi nella Coppa del Mondo generale, un trionfo che si va ad aggiungere ai quattro di specialità: individuale (2019, 2023 e 2024) ed inseguimento (2024). Si gode il tempo libero giocando a tennis, leggendo un libro giallo oppure davanti ad una serie TV. Salta per infortunio l'intera stagione 2025 per arrivare pronta al vero obiettivo: i Giochi di Milano Cortina.
