He started playing ice hockey by following his brother Michael, with whom he has always trained and who has been both a key inspiration and a role model. That close bond and his family’s support give him the strength and motivation to believe in his goals. In 2018 he left home to join the prestigious Salzburg academy. He earned international attention thanks to his performances at the U18 and U20 Junior World Championships, opening the door to Canadian junior hockey. With the Peterborough Petes he became a key forward and crowned his time in North America by winning the OHL title in 2023. In 2024/2025 he returned to his home club, HC Val Pusteria, establishing himself as one of the league’s emerging “heroes” in the ICE Hockey League. In May he was called up for the Division I Group A World Championships, where Italy ended a three-year wait by returning to the Top Division. With his goals, he wants to be a factor at Milano Cortina too.
