A Canadian from Thornhill, in 2014 he joined the OJHL with the Aurora Tigers after years in the GTHL with the Markham Majors at both U16 and U18 level. In two seasons in the Ontario Junior Hockey League he recorded 100 points (65 goals and 35 assists) in 109 games, and from 2016 he was part of Robert Morris University, competing in the NCAA and finishing his four years with 66 points (22 goals and 44 assists) in 140 games. He describes himself as a two-way centre—someone who plays both sides of the ice, creating a lot in attack while also shutting down opponents’ plays. In 2020 he began his European adventure, specifically in Italy, first with Asiago and then Bolzano—experiences that opened the doors to the national team. In 2022 he played at the Top Division World Championships in Finland, while in May 2025 he contributed to Italy’s return, after three years, to the top tier at the Division I Group A World Championships. Milano Cortina represents the most important exam of his career—but performance anxiety is something he does not even know.
