• By public transport: Rhe nearest train station is Tirano, from where a dedicated shuttle service runs to the venue.

Perched at 1,816 metres above sea level in the alpine resort of Livigno, the Livigno Snow Park will host six Olympic disciplines at Milano Cortina 2026: halfpipe, slopestyle, big air, snowboard cross, ski cross, and parallel giant slalom. Inaugurated in 1994, it stands as Italy’s most prestigious snowpark and one of the most renowned in Europe.

Located near the Trepalle chairlift, the facility stretches across 800 metres and features more than 60 structures, including three dedicated jump lines. Among them is the XL line, designed for professional riders and set to take centre stage during the Olympic competitions in February 2026.

The snowboard cross and ski cross course extends for 1.5 kilometres, with an average gradient of 8%. The halfpipe measures 220 metres in length, 22 metres in width, and rises to 7.2 metres in height. The parallel giant slalom course is 635 metres long with a 15% average gradient. The big air structure, one of the park’s standout features, reaches a total length of 225 metres, with a peak height of 40 metres and an average gradient of 28%. For the 2026 Games, all finishing areas will be unified into a single, central point to enhance the viewing experience.

In March 2023, Livigno hosted a round of the Snowboard Cross World Cup, adding to a long list of prestigious international events held at the venue, including the Burton European Open, River Jump, and the World Rookie Fest. Between 2017 and 2019, and again in 2022 and 2023, the snowpark also served as host for European Cup competitions in slopestyle and freestyle snowboarding.
